THE SECRET PLACE &
COMMITMENT TO HOLY SPIRIT

The success of your life will be determined by what you choose to be committed to.

The enemy has a very subtle way of causing the world to be committed to things without even realizing that they have made a commitment. Because the flesh can never be satisfied, anything that you yield to, to feed the flesh, will eventually become a lifelong commitment.

The devil wants you committed to anything that is going to require that you exalt the world above the Kingdom of God. The only time we are a threat to the demonic realm is when we yield to Holy Spirit to walk in the correct revelation of the Kingdom of God and the access we have to the Kingdom of God.

When you allow your struggle to be your identity you will begin to fight those who are empowered to help you because the enemy will cause you to believe they are fighting you as opposed to just helping you fight your struggle.

This is how the enemy works to create rebellion. The enemy creates rebellion, so people are deceived to fight for his lies. People are dying and they are fighting for the right to stay in bondage to that which is killing them. (i.e. mental anguish, despair, drugs, alcohol…)

The enemy always takes you to a place where there is a potential to lose it all because his temptations are aimed at that which cannot be satisfied.

Instead, commit to live by relationship with Father God.  In that relationship you are transformed into correctness and into truth.

This is really important. Don’t attempt to change things in your life by your own determination. Instead, be determined to love Father God and you will be transformed by that love and eventually you will hate what is not of God; those things designed to destroy your life.  

Pray to your Father who is in the secret place. Don’t go to look for Him, go to be with Him. Committing to God is opening the door for Holy Spirit to take residence in you.

Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you in the open.

Psalm 91:1 –4 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty.

When Father refers to the “secret place”, He is describing the access that we have to develop a relationship with him. Intimacy happens behind closed doors.

Jesus prayed early, and Jesus prayed late.

Jesus prayed when there were NO distractions.

When you’re not led by Holy Spirit, you will agree with the enemy. You can’t conquer that which you are in agreement with.

When you become a believer, one with Christ, and are led by Holy Spirit, you will be empowered to fight the enemy.  Pray for guidance to live by faith.

When you are filled with Holy Spirit, you don’t look for approval from people you look to love people.  As you are infilled with peace – distractions and anxieties of the world, the deception of self-pity, hopelessness, and fear, are replaced with love, contentment and joy. This also helps opens the door to rid yourself of lingering unforgiveness.

With Holy Spirit, you are mission driven. Without Holy Spirit you are ambition driven.

If you yield to Holy Spirit, to walk in the spirit, you will find you need very little frills from the world.
